Padel Maintenance 101

Premium carbon padels are an investment, and proper care is crucial. Never leave your padel inside a hot car trunk, as heat degrades the EVA foam core. Always use a protective edge guard tape to shield the frame from glass walls and metal grid collisions, and store your padel in an insulated cover when not on the court.
Avoid Extreme Heat and Sun
Leaving your padel in direct sunlight or in a hot car causes the resin inside the carbon frame to weaken and the EVA foam core to contract, resulting in a dead sweet spot.
Always Use a Protector Tape
Frame guards are adhesive plastic/carbon tapes applied to the outer rim of the padel head. They absorb impact when scraping walls or the floor.
Keep the Padel Dry
Moisture can ruin the foam core density. Dry your padel off with a towel if you play in high humidity or light rain, and replace your overgrip regularly to keep handle moisture away.
